Job Description

We are seeking a Marketing Associate to support Workforce Africa’s growth, brand visibility, and client acquisition efforts. This is a hands-on execution role for someone who is creative, digital-first, resilient, and eager to learn.

The Marketing Associate will be responsible for content creation, social media management, campaign execution, and basic analytics. The ideal candidate is gritty, driven, and willing to endure the pressure of deadlines while building campaigns that deliver tangible results for sales and recruitment.


Key Responsibilities

1. Digital Marketing & Content Creation (45%)

  • Actively manage LinkedIn, TikTok, and Instagram accounts (daily posts, engagement, campaigns).
  • Use AI tools (ChatGPT, Canva, CapCut, Midjourney, etc.) to design posters, graphics, and short videos.
  • Create at least 3–5 original posts per week tailored to clients, candidates, and internal branding.
  • Design creative materials such as event posters, recruitment campaigns, and client-facing decks.

2. Campaign Execution (25%)

  • Support in planning and executing employer branding and recruitment campaigns.
  • Run email campaigns and social media ads under supervision.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to ensure marketing drives warm leads.

3. Analytics & Reporting (15%)

  • Track performance of posts and campaigns (reach, impressions, engagement).
  • Share weekly marketing reports on growth and engagement.
  • Suggest optimizations based on performance data.

4. Cross-Department Support (15%)

  • Support HR with internal branding campaigns (employee engagement posts, culture content).
  • Collaborate with recruiters on candidate-facing branding.
  • Assist leadership in preparing presentations, proposals, and event materials.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Diploma or Bachelor’s in Marketing, Communications, or related field (preferred, not mandatory if creative portfolio is strong).
  • 2+ years of experience in marketing, social media, or content creation.
  • Must have active LinkedIn, TikTok, and Instagram profiles (required).
  • Strong skills in Canva, CapCut, or Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Familiarity with social media analytics, ads, and growth strategies.
  • Portfolio of creative work (posters, reels, videos, campaigns) is a plus.
